Bomber, Jjakji, MC and TLO are the four players advancing after the first day of group stages at IEM Brazil. The German Zerg has the change to be the only foreigner in the playoffs, as tomorrow four more Koreans will play their matches.
Expectedly, Group A was no problem for Bomber and Jjakji. The Korean Terran duo swiped through puCK and open bracket hero WM, not giving them a single map.
Crowd favorites ruled in Group B as well as MC and TLO came first and second, respectively, defeating Shakti and Hellokitty. Although ultimately defeated, however, the Brazilian player came close to beating the group stage as a surprising victory over Hellokitty in the losers match won him another round of life before TLO could end his streak.
Tomorrow resumes with arguably the toughest group in the tournament, featuring CJ's herO, Polt, one of Brazil's finest in Tunico and open bracket winner Kelazhur. Group D will follow at 18:30 CET, featuring Bbyong, Major, ABomB and CJ's coach trOt.
