With a 3-1 victory over Prime, JinAir secured their spot in the Proleague round 1 playoffs. At the same time, MVP's loss to Samsung Galaxy pushed them down to seventh position and IM remains the only ex-ESF team with playoffs chances.

At 1-5 before yesterday's match, MVP had no chances to make playoffs whatsoever and all they could do is trip Samsung. Putting out an all-Zerg line-up, Samsung marched in with their heavy guns in Shine, Roro and Solar and also tested the B-teamer Armani to walk out with a 3-1 victory and take the temporary fourth position in the Proleague rankings. Their next match aginst ranking runner-ups SK Telecom (as well as IM's game against JinAir) will decide whether or not Samsung will be in the playoffs.

Although sOs continued to struggle on Proleague grounds, Pigbaby, Terminator and Maru were outstanding for the green-and-white team and secured them a top three finish. They'll get a chance to climb one more spot on January 28th as they play Incredible Miracle.
