The fourth IEM event for this season is one week from now and the groups have started to take shape. The four invites and the eight qualifier winners have been allocated to their groups, only awaiting the players that'll come from Stage 1.
Even before their completion, a couple of groups are already ripe with talent. Group C has harbored reigning IEM champion herO along with back-to-back WCS America champion Polt and Brazil's finest in Tunic. Group A, on the other hand, boasts the two Terran champions Jjakji and Bomber alongside ROOT's puCK.
Group B and Group D are more "international" and feature one player from each major region. TLO, Hellokitty and MC have flocked to the former, while Bbyong, Major and ABomB will compete in the latter.
The tournament starts on January 28th and will run till February 1st. Apart from the $25,000 there are 4,000 WCS points on the line, the first to be handed out from non-WCS tournaments this year.
