In a star studded tournament bracket, Greg "Idra" Fields grabbed the first spot in this summer's DreamHack tournament after defeating Dmitriy "Advokate" Demichev in the final.
30 players in total entered the first qualifier for DreamHack Summer 2009. First and second prize were wild cards to the offline playoffs taking place at DreamHack in Jönköping from June 13 to 16.
The CJ Entus progamer defeated BW-Tidy, RoX.BRAT_OK and BW-AiELLO in his way to the final, where he outmanouvered Russian RoX-Gaming player Advokate.
The next qualifier will be hosted this Sunday, June 7 at 18:00 CET.
