Tonight BWCL Season XXX is decided. The top teams have already carved their positions in rock, but the bottom is wide open. It's up to guesses as who is going to stay, and who is going to be eliminated.

Last weekend offered us some entertaining games as the race for survival was started for real. The biggest surprise of the week was eXpertise (formerly known as Light) beat the second place mTw with 4-2. They needed the four points badly and are now in a fairly good position to stay in division 1, even if it is definetly not guaranteed. Other than that the games were fairly predictable. NaW took home a win vs ]DK[ with 3-2 and ZZZ played a draw vs NrG. making the bottom fight extremely even and uncertain up until the last week.

As can be seen the top three are pretty much safe in their positions. While theoretically mTw could lose their second place and SL could both climb or fall, it would require some huge upsets tonight. However below the top three it's extremely even, and then a slight gap to the bottom four. The bottom four after tonight are the ones that will be replaced by clans from the second divisions. Now it certain that VT will be eliminated, and things do look bad for NaW even if they do have a chance. Both Get- and DiE have pretty big chances of fighting themselves up tonight, points wise.
What really will decide who stays and who goes are how they are matched up tonight. There is no luck involved though, each team faces every team once during the season. So the teams facing hard opponents tonight, are the ones who have not played versus them during previous weekends. Tonight desparate bottom teams will go up against some pretty tough resistance, but remember that desparate teams can pull off uspet victories.

To start with the certainties, VT will get smacked my ex-MYM, which also means that no other clan has to worry about certain defeat from the disbanded team. ZZZ will in all likelyhood beat DiE with at least 4-2, which pretty much eliminates DiE's chances of staying. So VT and DiE will go out. That leaves two more spots to fill. Get- is going up against NrG, where NrG. has to be considered the favourites, but it's still far from a sure card. If Get- manages to pull of a win they will stay in division 1, but it looks tough. NaW is in a similar position as Get-, they have the chance to pull of a slight upset against ]eX[, but given the American's recent performance it looks bad. The bottom four after tonight should remain the same as they are right now. And the top three will most definetly stay the same.
