MaX: 'We don't know the real reasons'

StarCraft Gosu “GosuGamers” Gamers

- It's a huge upset but we also don't know the real reasons, especially for the WarCraft 3 team, says Markus "MaX" Kemper to GosuGamers.

The manager says that the team and the management had a couple of different views for the future of the team. With some organizations bringing on StarCraft squads on the preparation for StarCraft 2, mTw for example, many of the people commenting on the press release do not understand this move. Former MYM StarCraft manager Markus "MaX" Kemper does not seem too understanding either.

- I doubt it's just a decision because of the lack of money, especially in our case, says MaX to GosuGamers.

- But we'll stay together and we are already searching a new team, says MaX.

COO explains the laydown

Chief Operations Officer, Mark Peter "Mercy" Fries, says in an interview with Fragster that no investor or sponsor has left ESNation, the company behind MYM. He explains the reason for the laydown quite clear.

- First of all WC3 and SC are no longer on the road of peaking in gaming and will soon be taken over by other games. Secondly we as a business want to focus more on fewer teams to be able to capitalize on them better and then we have to look at the return of investment.

MeetYourMakers will now focus on their remaining teams, DotA and Counter-Strike.
