White-Ra advances to finals of ESL

After a long road of blood, sweat, and tears, the finals of the ESL are about to commence in a climatic battle.

White-Ra emerged victorious from his recent match against Dreiven in the loser bracket finals of the ESL Major Series. White-Ra will square off against Mondragon in what will be a clash of the titans. Both players are strong contenders to win this series. However, just like the rules of Thunderdome, two men walk in, one man walks out.

After first being knocked out of the main bracket by fellow Meet Your Makers teammate Strelok, White-Ra had his work cut out for him to advance to the finals in the loser bracket. His first match up was against the 2007 WCG USA champion, iNcontroL.

After he advanced to the secound round, HayprO, the reigning DreamHack champion tried to live up to his nickname of "MYM slayer". He failed and White-Ra advanced to the loser bracket finals. There he had to defeat his teammate Dreiven, the last hope of Poland to get a crack at the series finals.

A look into the future?

Mondragon and White-Ra faced each other in the WGTCL finals on Sunday, with White-Ra coming out victorious with a 2-0 record. They still have one last match to play for this series and although Mondragon is favored in the history of official matches, nothing is for sure until the fat lady sings her last song and the victor walks away with 450€.
