Batoo StarLeague

It's always interesting to see who sponsors the OSL, if for no other reason to see that they still do attract sponsors. This time it's another online game, Batoo. The Batoo StarLeague

The prelim will start December 12th and 212 players will be involved in group play. The players will be spread over 24 groups and play best of three. Only one player will advance from each group. These 24 players will get into the round of 36, where they will be joined by 12 players who were seeded from the last OSL. These will be split into groups of three. The prelim qualifiers will face each other and the winner of that match will face the seeded player. Of course top4 from last season will be seeded directly into the round of 16.

The round of 16 is the normal group play with four groups the usual two players advance to play best of three quarterfinals, best of five semifinals and final. The total prizepool is 108 million won and everyone who makes it to the round of 36 will see a piece of that.
