The Chinese Protoss player went for a 1 gate core teching to Robotics, whereas Strelok advanced to the Protoss base with five vultures and two tanks on the way.
Strelok was lucky enough to kill three dragoons with a spider mine, and later on placed additional spider mines just outside LoveTT's gateways. With more and more units in the shape of tanks and marines entering LoveTT's main, there was little the Protoss could do but type out.
Strelok spawned at 7 on the second map (Blue Storm) while LoveTT found himself at 2. Strelok went for a wall-in at his ramp and later a natural expansion, while LoveTT went for a dual gateway with dragoon range. LoveTT took the opportunity to also expand, and gets warped in as his observatory is finished.
Strelok could later dominate the map with his massive vulture and tank army, not letting LoveTT expand over the map. The Warship Strelok was able to maintain pressure on the mineral only, and when rolling out his entire army, there was little LoveTT could do despite arbiters and templar storms.
Strelok can cash out $3,000 USD for ending on third spot and a place in the foreign WCG StarCraft hall of fame grabbing the eighth StarCraft bronze medal in WCG history.
