The heavily favored Mondragon did not disappoint as he easily advances along with Masscata out of group B.
Honestly, anything other than 3-0 would have been a disappointment for Mondragon. Last year's third place finisher easily managed to defeat Ptak, chivu and Masscata, who also advanced from this group.
With this win, Mondragon became the second representative (along with Horror) from Germany to advance to the round of sixteen. He will be playing against the second place finisher from group E, while the Bulgarian player Masscata will be facing off against group E's first place winner.
