StarCraft: For Charity

To celebrate ten incredible years of StarCraft, Diggity from SC2GG has engineered a tournament unlike any before. A tournament for nearly every community will occur with one main focus: charity.

The tournament has been wisely named "Endurance", referencing StarCraft's long and healthy life thus far. It will be a culmination of tournaments from various communities, including Melee, Fastest, UMS, and BGH.

Child's Play Charity

All of this is to benefit the Child's Play Charity, a site devoted to providing games and toys to children across the globe. Currently, TeamLiquid has an auction on signed CJ Entus shirts to benefit the same charity.

The Tournaments

The various tournaments will be hosted by different StarCraft sites. ICCup will be handling the BGH and regular 1v1 tournaments. VileGaming will take over the Fastest tour, and WGTour will be doing the UMS tournaments (consisting of Risk and Micro Tour). Full info including sign ups can be found on their respective websites.

The Prizes

The first place winner will receive an unknown cash sum. Diggity has also promised to purchase the winner a copy of StarCraft II when it is released, as well as a FireBatHero t-shirt and the unique WoW item from the Blizzcon goodie bag.

To donate, simply follow this link. Please donate if you are able. The sum of the donations will be given to Child's Play on November 30th, which is the date of StarCraft's initial release in 1998.
