WGTCL Announces Season Twenty

The next season of the prestigious WGTour ClanLeague is set to begin September 28th with the starting map being Peaks of Baekdu.

Another rousing season of WGTour's ClanLeague is underway, with the first week taking place on September 28th. According to WGTour's website, one major rule change has taken place. Instead of automatically qualifying for division one, the second and third placed teams will compete in a playoff to determine who moves on.

Can the new guys make a mark?

The first division of course sees four newcomers to the scene: NrT, [LighT], ash. and RoX. It truly is time for the players of these teams to step up to the plate and play with the big boys... or face humility.

V-v-video casts!

Another exciting dynamic to this Season will be video casts. According to WGTour.com: "We hope you all like videocasts because we'll be having them this season." So stay updated because this means we'll finally be able to watch the games without sifting through replays.

As far as maps go, Athena was replaced with Plasma, and Wuthering Heights will be replaced with an as-of-yet decided map from the Korean leagues.
