July and Sea stumble, Flash and Luxury impress

The second round of the OSL means the proper start of the Incruit StarLeague. One game from each group and a sneak preview of the two new maps, Chupung-Ryeong and Medusa.

The Incruit StarLeague theme: Be the legend

The second round of the Incruit StarLeague is played on Wednesdays and Fridays. Every day features one game from each group. As usual top two from each group will move on.

July looked to be in a commanding lead in his game versus Flash but then Flash built a lot of turrets while going double starports for vessels. July who had focused solely on mutalisks went down hard. A bit of an unusual strategy and if you missed the game it's definitely worth a look. July being the reigning OSL champion is subject to the curse, which says that he won't make it out of his group this time.

The other games were pretty one sided and we didn't get to see much of the new maps due to the games being rather quick mirror matches. The new maps will not be released for a little while as the 1.0 versions had some problems and KeSPA decided to wait for 1.1 until they are released to the public. Perhaps we can hope that they will leak anyways. Sea wasn't his usual self today, or at least not the Sea we know from ProLeague. He got tripped up by what looked like a standard two factory build. Luxury on the other hand looked exactly like himself in ZvZ with muta micro dominance.
