The pre-hand favorite Stork stands ground and advances to the Round of 16 on the expense of Dongrae.

Only two games were needed for Stork to advance to the Round of 16, and in the matches against Dongrae he showed he was a high-class player. Defeating him with a straight 2-0 score, Stork is set for the next round, and will there play in Group D together with BackHo.

First game, played on Plasma, Stork outmacroes the Terran with a 5-to-3 base advantage. Dongrae held Stork contained for a while in the middle, but that did not prevent Stork to expand on the left side of the map. After several pushes, Stork could finally break the containment and could then waltz in with his zealots and dragoons and win the game.

Second game, on Return of the King, Stork seemed very confident, and went for early carriers while he stalled Dongrae with reaver drop harass. Stork was also able to take out the in-progress natural expansion of Dongrae, slowing the Terran down. After a couple of poundings here and there, Stork moves out with the Carriers, and once Dongrae spot them he is too late with his Armory to defend himself with Goliaths. Stork is able to pick off a substantial number of turrets and siege tanks leaving Dongrae with nothing.

Lecaf OZ's Terran player Dongrae, had been looking pretty good in the first match against eSTRO's player Tester, but fell too short for the 'endless runner-up'.

Stork will now continue his hunt for a Korean championship title. He has six silver medals and one bronze medal. The only gold he has in his trophy cabinet is the World Cyber Games 2007 gold medal. But maybe that's not too shabby.
