ret: It's a shame that the gosus of the past weren't there

A couple of days ago, one of the first World Cyber Games qualifiers ended, we now have one of the players who will go to Cologne to fight for his nation in the grand finals; ret from the Netherlands!

For the first time in four years the Netherlands have finally managed to scrabble together money enough for a spot in the Brood War tournament at World Cyber Games. The hero of the day, and winner of the qualifier was the Zerg and Terran player ret.

A total of 20 people showed up at the web café The Game Syndicate in Rotterdam for the tournament, out of the 30 players that had signed up. It was more players than anyone had expected, but ret tells GosuGamers he was missing some names in the list.
- It's a shame that gosus of the past like Strafe, Nazgul and Twisted weren't there to participate.

The players were split into four groups of five, with two players moving on from each group, but ret tells us that he had little trouble moving on, and that he was very confident all the way through the tournament.
- I had some troubles in my game vs ZerGG[media] but overall it wasn't too hard.

There are still qualifications that have not been completed, so do not forget to give us the information you have about your country's qualifications.
