TSL Round of Eight Finished, Only Four Remain

This weekend saw eight hopefuls turn into four determined. In front of thousands of people with even more thousands of dollars at stake, only the brightest stars could shine. Let's take a look at how everything went down on day two.

The stage had been set. Four players from all corners of the globe met up to do battle. The first games of the day were between the Canadian monster IefNaij from Excello and the Chilean Zerg player from MYM, DinOt. Both players were well prepared, being considered experts at the match up.

Another Protoss versus Zerg as GOsia played NonY

Once again we saw an Excello member face off against a Zerg player. The maps were in different order, but remained the same. The commentators boasted of a Protoss advantage on Wuthering Heights, and how GOsia would need to pull out all of the stops to take on this PvZ gosu. With a history of strange and effective play from GOsia, everyone anticipated a long and memorable series.
