Today the Quarter Finals of the Razer-TSL were played, once again the monster named "upset" reared its ugly head.
The Razer-TSL is the most prestigious league outside of Korea right now, gathering the best from around the world to duke it out. Now the ladder stage, the Ro48, Ro32, and the Ro16 have all been completed, the Quarter Finals are now happening. With eight of the best players brining their top game to the table, trying so hard to get that five grand waiting for the winner. Former Korean pro-gamer Draco has come back for yet another money tournament, this time with the biggest prize next to WCG. This must have effected his motivation and his practice hours for this tournament. It really showed today as he faced off with White-Ra, the Beast from the East.
The first game went quickly to White-Ra as he defended Dracos DT rush and pushed right into his main with Reavers. Though Draco was able to fend off the first attack of Ra's he was unable to keep it up and conceded the game rather quickly. The next game was played on Wuthering Heights with both of them spawning at the the bottom right and left positions respectively. This game went even quicker for the Polish player as he went three gate no tech and just crushed White-Ra.
They played the series out and it ended at a 2-2 stand still going into the final match where Ra once again went with a nasty Reaver build trying to defend and expo. While this worked for him once this time it was not destined to be so, mostly due to the amazing mechanics that Draco is so well known for. The game came down to a very close macro war but Draco came out on top to take a 3-2 victory.

In the second series of Day One the mighty BBQToss Dreiven faced off against relatively unknown Terran BRAT_OK. With Dreiven defeating the master of the swarm, Mondragon, just last week he seemed to be on a roll. As they squared off in the first game and Dreiven took an early lead it seemed that he would be buying a beer for BRAT and WCG too.
It was not to be so though, BRAT proved that he deserves his spot in the TSL and went head to head with the Polish player. Coming back from a nearly decimated economy and army to win in the first game, surprising many of the viewers. The next two games were won convincingly as he rolled over Dreiven on Blue Storm and Othello in true Terran style. Looks like BRAT showed up to the BBQ and roasted it with Seige Tank fire.
Quarter Finals Day Two Tomorrow!
With yet another upset pushing Dreiven out of the TSL at 0-3 loss against BRAT, and one of the favorites Draco moving on the TSL has gotten even more interesting. The VODs of todays games should be up on the TSL tracker very soon for download and probably on YouTube within the next few days.
