Testing for lag
The TSL admins are requiring all players to go through a test of their latency, to ensure all games run smoothly, even with the referees. Failure to appear at the testing and then lagging during games may result in disqualification from the tournament.
Full speed ahead
Also required for all players and administrators will be ICCup's anti-hack feature as well as the latency changer plugin. Any player unable to meet these rules will of course be disqualified.
Two from each group
Each group will have two players emerge to the next round. This will obviously cut the finalists in half, with only the best staying in to see the next round.
Also...
TeamLiquid has announced they will be working on a shoutcasting of the games, and as usual all of the games will be available for betting. Each series is a best of three taking place on the maps Longinus, Blue Storm, and Zodiac respectively. Good luck to the players and as always thanks to everyone at TeamLiquid.net for breathing life into the Starcraft community.
