War of the States is back for another great round of StarCraft!
Here is another awesome tournament brought to us by the great people at BroodWarUSA. This time it will be the players from all around the United States facing off for the title of number one player. There are quite a few top level players in the U.S. right now inlcuding
IdrA[Media], NonY[Media], and Redeemer[Media]. There are no confirmed brackets yet, so we are not sure who will be showing up for these tournaments, but we hope to see a lot of good players.“Well the United States is easily the most skilled country in the Brood War scene right now. But most of the players are completely apathetic about going to events without prizes.

Everyone has a chance and it would be great to see some new players on top of the U.S. leagues. For a long time its been the same familiar faces over here players that have held the top spot in the country seem to never go away (not like we want them to). We know the U.S. has a bunch of great players to offer so sign up and show us what you got!
History
This is the second War of the States; the first being held in late 2006 with a lot of great players showing up to fight it out. In the end Skew[Media] took the title after a long and arduous tournament involving a lot of the best players from around America. Who knows if the reigning king will return to hold off the attacking forces but either way we are sure it will be an interesting tournament!
