TeamLiquid Attack: an Event for Everyone

TeamLiquid.net has decided to bring their TeamLiquid Attack project to the main stage, becoming a weekly event that pits loyal members against some of the best foreigners in the scene for a chance at prizes.

TeamLiquid Attack is a live, streamed event in which a predetermined player goes up against people chosen from a pool of TL regulars, who meet up in a channel and compete to gain the attention of said player. Last week saw United States Greg "IdrA" Fields from Micro Media play for three hours, using the different races and even attempting to take on three players at once in a team melee.

The event is growing quickly, with four hundred viewers tuning in last week to see who would put on the best show against IdrA to win the prize: a mouse pad courtesy of ESportNova.com. The prizes are likely to vary from week to week, but that is not a definite.

Professional, yet casual commentary

The stream features commentary from TL administrators as well as the guest to provide as much insight and information as possible during the event. We can also look forward to friendly trash-talking to make things extra fun.

How to watch

The stream address will be announced on TeamLiquid's news page as soon as it is available, and it will viewable in VLC Player as well as WMP using the link provided. If you miss the live stream, It will be hosted and available for download on TL's page shortly following the event.

Next week: NonY

Episode three features another Micro Media player, United States Tyler "NonY" Wasieleski, who has been extremely active recently in virtually every medium available to a Brood War player. Beating him will not be an easy task for those who choose to participate.

Note that to win the prize, one does not necessarily have to beat that weeks guest player, but simply give the best game. Episode three is scheduled for March 9th at 23 CET, so be sure to tune in and show your support!
