The new year isn't that new anymore. It is actually precisely so old that it requires the first summary of some of the major improvements of GosuGamers.net. Here goes:
- An RSS-feed for the DOTA-section is now available.
- The URLs of news posts are now unique, preventing a bug that would occur when two posts had the same name.
- Fixed a bug that occurred when users were given a reward in form of star points.
- In a couple of users' blogs their nicknames would not show up, this has now been fixed.
- The looks of PM-conversations between users have been updated and now work better.
- A bug including not showing the current poll was fixed.
- Added several nationalities and flags.
- GosuGamers moved, physically, to a new server hall.
- A new function showing all dates and times relative to the current time was added. Hence it should be easier to get a grip of when something (comment, news post, thread etc.) actually was posted.
- The profile of a player in the database rankings now allows alternate nicknames ("smurfs") to show up. See Berserker's profile for example.
- Different optimizations in terms of database use were made, all of them ensuring a faster experience of GosuGamers.
- The Wiki was closed due to unpopularity.
