The finals for the GOM Invitational are set! We will have the young Terran player Flash, who had almost no trouble beating anytime[gm], up against the strong Protoss player stork, who steamrolled Berzerker.

Flash quickly lost the first game, but came back from almost insurmountable odds beating AnyTime[gm] who took a whole lot of risks after losing the second (and long) match. anytime[gm] looked like he had the game in hand with the Carrier advantage on Katrina. In the third game anytime[gm] tried to do a proxy rush which had some initial success, but the positioning of Flash's buildings allowed his marines to control the early harass and dominate the pace of the game and win. The final game looked like AnyTime[gm] could win it, but his double proxy gate was found out by a lone vulture from Flash. AnyTime[gm] tried to force himself in but it was not enough as his Dragoon's met their demise at the hand of well placed Siege Tanks.| Semi Finals Match 2 | ||||||||||||||||||||||||

stork was able to get a quick win on Blue Storm over Berserker (Iris) as he got trapped in his main while stork was able to tech to Dark Templars while Berserker scrambled to get vision up. It was GG soon after some fighting back and forth. The second game took on a similar look and feel as last rounds match between Flash and anytime with the Carrier strategy once again showing up with stork. Berserker had a solid goliath/tank push late into the game but stork's stunning Carrier micro was too much. He was able to push and take out his Armory's and then his Factory's. With a strong push by stork the game was quickly over at that point with Berserker having little to no options.
In the third game stork got a quick two gateway proxy rush that was very successful even though Berserker saw it early. Berserker tried to micro as best as he could as stork delayed the construction of his Factory enough to gain complete control of the game and tech up to Dragoons. stork was pushed out slightly, but it still was not enough and soon it was GG, and stork is headed to the finals!
