WGT's end of the year clan war tournament is near to completion. Who could have asked for a better final, with Excello taking on Los Reyes Del Mambo in what will prove to be an epic clash of two great titans.
In 2006 WGT started what has become an annual tradition of taking the top ranked clanwar teams and throwing them together to determine the year's champion. This year the competition has been great, with almost all the top teams participating.
The grand final will not disappoint. Excello, the number one ranked team in the database is set to duke it out against LRM, the third ranked team in the database. Both teams have monster lineups, with Bartar's squad fielding top Chinese progamers, as well as the latin sensations, Dinot and Castro. On the other hand, NuNo's team has some top Polish and Latin players, as well as the ever fearsome Lamer.
Excello's road to the finals saw them take down, uT, ToT, and the surprising St, while LRM had to go through, NaW/Qpad, Bringit, and LighT to reach the finals. Each team showed their strength to move fairly easily through these teams to reach the destination.
What's at stake is pride and glory, as well as some undisclosed prizes from Steelseries as an added incentive not only to reward these teams for their activity, but to bring about an epic match.
