After weeks upon weeks of the QPad clan event, the Templars of Twilight take home the 700 euro prize, beating Excello in the finals with a 3-2 victory.

This Wednesday, it was time for the final play of the QCup, featuring a face-off between Excello and Los Reyes del Mambo which would lead the former into the finals. They won the best of three with a 2-1 score, taking out eXeCuToR and Odin.
Unfortunately, Excello's winning streak wasn't enough to break the back of the Templars, who finished them off in best of five with only Strelok and Castro taking points off the team.

This means that the Templars of Twilight now take the E. 700,- prize after twenty-one weeks of battling it out in the QCup.
It's a relatively unsurprising win for the team, which had been topping the QCup rankings for quite some time. Excello's success was a little less expected, with the team coming in last at 9% of the votes in WGTour's QCup poll. Their opponents were probably a little less surprised - HayprO already predicted their rise in our feature earlier this week.
