GosuGamers grabbed hold of Excello's manager Bartar for a quickie just before the iCCup match versus MeetYourMakers.
Last season you won with a close score, this time MYM has a set of new members, mostly German. What do you think of tonight's match versus MeetYourMakers?
- I have confident in my team and i think we are the favourite.
What do you think of the lineup? Do you think all of your players will come out with a good score? Seeing White-Ra and F91 in the lineup doesn't make you shiver?
- All matches are high class and luck will play a role in the results. in my opinion there is no skill difference and scores can go either way. However, I'm optimist because we have prepared this match well.
Over the season, you have collected 15 points over four matches. What do you think of the ongoing season, are you satisfied with the results?
- I'm satisfied although things could have been a lot better. We lost to LRM only by a controversy admin decision and we won all other matches. I particularly liked the 4-0 vs MgZ which is in very good shape lately. Winning 4-1 vs Lyra was ok, especially as we were missing certain players. However I expected a 5-0 vs LighT and I was disappointed with xLo.Castro for losing his match. I think we could have a shot in winning the season but the just penalty we received makes it impossible. I'm disappointed for letting myself get emotional and cause this penalty.
Once again we see IefNaij in your lineup, after going back to MgZ) for a while. What happened?
- In Season 2 I judged that our lineup was in need of a player we could really count on. I approached IefNaij to join us as a mercenary and he accepted my offer. He is now the only mercenary in our team and I'm glad for my choice cause he hasn't lost a single match yet.
Unfortunately, he choses friendship over sponsorship and he refused to join us back as full member. I respect that and I think MgZ is quite lucky to have him on board. Also, I would like to highlight that his move to return back gives some answers to all those who doubt about Excello professionalism.
How will the IdrA case be solved when he leaves for Korea?
- Greg is not contracted and so he is free to go whenever he chooses. However his behaviour is very professional and I'm sure he will not cause any problems to team. He is an excellent player to cooperate with and I'm confident he will inform me on time for any coming changes. If he choses to go Korea, we will be the first to cheer him. But till he goes he is a sponsored player and so far he works as expected.
