Team Tournament - The Sweet 16

The Third Round of the Team Tournament is nearly finished, with two matches yet to be played, we're ready to move on to the Sweet 16.

Round 3 went mostly as expected with two great surprises, the Polish clan ZZZ defeated the Russian powerhouse team RoX, although initially some controversy about possible account sharing between some ZZZ players erupted, investigation showed all games to be legitimate. MgZ will face the Poles in the Sweet 16. The other great victory came to the French squad sT over the Nerds at Work (NaW).

Last week's featured matches proved disappointing for the newcomers, as MYM, MgZ, and xLo defeated QcG, Lyra, and faculty, respectively. These seasoned veterans advance to the next round.

Two matches have yet to be played in round 3, LRM must play the relatively unknown team PewPew which consists mainly of TeamLiquid.net users and the Chinese guild SvS has yet to face off against ~SR~. These games will be played as soon as possible so all matches can continue!

ZZZ seems to be surging, but can they put out the equally hot MgZ, who have been dominating more than seemingly ever before? Find out! Meanwhile, the recently strengthened aFz takes on the American team, Media who even without their eSTRO SuperStar IdrA still pack quite a punch. Lastly, the ever steady xLo will battle it out with the fierce Hungarians, F2F who always contend with the best of the best.

The starting map of the Sweet 16 will be: Katrina / Chariots of Fire. Good luck and have fun to all teams!
