Team Tournament - Ready for Round 3

The Third Round of the Team Tournament is at hand, is your favorite team still in the hunt?

The first two rounds for the Team Tournament have now been completed, and we're ready to launch Round 3. More than one hundred teams began in this tournament which has now been whittled down to 32; by the end of next week, that number will dwindle further to just 16! So far there has been some very nice competition, with many teams bringing their best effort each week! Which teams will advance to the Final 16? Stay tuned to find out!

New Coverage Feature: We are proud to announce a new coverage feature for this event, "Featured Matches". We will be choosing several of the most exciting and interesting clanwars to cover including updates on the scores of these matches possibly followed by a quick interview with the winners! So without pause, here are Round 3's Featured Matches

What do Lyra, QcG, and faculty have in common? If you were guessing that these are all relatively new teams recently having great results then you guessed correctly. All three teams are quickly establishing themselves as up and coming teams worthy of mention amongst the best of the best; this week will be a true test of their abilities as each of them are pitted against well established and older teams in, MgZ, MYM, and xLo respectively. Will these new teams amaze us, or will the "old faithfuls" ring proud and true? Find out next week!

Map information: With a new week comes new starting maps. The starting maps for Round 3 will be Un'Goro Crater for 1v1, and Vampire for 2v2. A quick reminder, all matches are BO3 with the loser choosing from the rest of the map pool, which can be found on the Team Tournament website. Once again, the format is 4 1v1 matches, and 1 2v2 match.
