In a tournament where the winner walks out with $1000, tensions were high as Poland's best players went head to head.

Sixteen players, including the Fosken, GohaN and the "retired" Hullah battled in the qualifications for this week's Poznan Game arena, where StarCraft was one of the featured games as well as Warcraft and Counter Strike. Two thousand dollars were up for grabs for the top three finishers, with first place claiming roughly $1000.

Double elimination bracket

The players faced each other initially in a best of three with the losers going on to play in a separate bracket which would be a best of one. The tournament went on to see players like MistrZZZ and ZZZero being knocked out in the second round of the winners bracket. The semi-finals then began with GohaN and Dreiven playing, as well as Fosken and Kinslayer.

And so began the chase for the rest of the prize money

With the winners bracket completed, GohaN captured first place and $1000 along with it. With first place settled, it was left to the losers bracket to see who would claim second and third and the rest of the prize money. Gaining a free pass to round four was Dreiven and Kinslayer, would would face off against MistrZZZ and Hullah respectively. Fosken, who came in second place for the winners bracket, got a bye until the finals to play whoever came out on top of round five.

And with that, MisterZZZ captured second place and the $600 dollar prize. Playing very well, Fosken made it to the finals for both brackets but unfortunately came up short both times. He got third place and a prize of $400. Thus came the conclusion of the Poznan Game Arena.
