MYM fires Advokate

Earlier today, Meet Your Makers announced the immediate release of Advokate from his contract with the team. The reason? He's inactive.

Dmitry Demichev, also known as Advokate, was brought into the MYM Starcraft team upon its creation, in August 2005. During his career he has won several major tournaments and show matches, and attended the World Cyber Games grand finals on three occasions – finishing among the top eight players in 2004.

In an elongated news post on the Meet Your Makers site, The1Crow declared that the team would be cancelling the contract with the Russian Terran player, effective immediately. He stated that "[d]ue to the fact that Advokate lost lately the interest in playing StarCraft he didn't practise anylonger a lot [sic]".

After expressing disappointment in Advokate's recent results in the Qcup and the IEST, The1Crow continues:

Today we have the sad news to announce that MYM and Advokate are parting ways, and the player will be released from his contract. Due to discrepancies between the player, his team and tournament holders, we are not able to continue the heretofore, close and positive collaboration.

In conclusion, Advokate is thanked on behalf of the team, and wished good luck in any future endeavours.
