No WGTCL? No problem!

Exactly what the title says... with WGT down, the community is in need for another team league to whet their appetites, I am here to help! I'm proud to introduce THE Team Tournament, which will hopefully feature 128 of the top teams, battling it out for glory!

This tournament will feature up to 128 teams, 30 have been invited, and the rest must sign up. I encourage everyone to sign up, the more teams, the better this event will be!

The lovely Aussie, Bman is currently working on the website for this event, while another lovely Aussie, Traelium will be doing graphic work!

Here's some lovely info about this event.

Playdays will be Sundays (or earlier if BOTH teams agree), and there will be three time slots 17 CET, 21 CET, 23 CET to hopefully make it convenient for all teams involved.

The 128 teams will be split up into a bracket, with one round played per week. The format of the wars will be ever increasing, starting with a standard 4 1v1, 1 2v2 ... later increasing to 5 1v1, 2 2v2 ... etc. Replays will all be organized and collected from the most exciting matchups, and possibly shoutcasting of the event will be available as well!

I will be getting in contact with those teams invited (some have confirmed already), but it should be quite exciting regardless!

So now... for the most important part How do you sign up?! It's simple, send an email to: teamtournament @ gmail dot com with important information such as: Team Name, Country, # Members, How long you've been around, Why you?, and some contact info.

Currently we're almost halfway there, with 60+ teams in already, so KEEP SENDIN THE MAIL! Updates will come when the website is created, and hopefully if sponsorship arrives!
