Information and tickets for DreamHack Winter 07

DreamHack Summer has closed the doors months ago, and now it is again time to focus on the winter event. The tickets were released yesterday and the prize sums are set for the official tournaments.

DreamHack Winter will start this year, and will be from the 29th of November to the 2nd of December, but the sale of DreamHack tickets started yesterday at 20:00 CET - and as usual people were trying their best to book their tickets through the heavily trafficked site. After a couple of hours, over five thousand tickets were sold, but according to the site there are still some tickets available, so if you wish to come to DreamHack Winter 2007 you better hurry! The tickets are 720 SEK (about 78€) and to buy one, just follow the link below to register and book it.

What also have come up lately is information about the prize sums for the official tournaments. Both StarCraft and WarCraft III has the same sum as they use to have, but as the interest for DotA was not as big the last event as it was last winter they have lowered the prize sum to 35,000 for the top three's. The WarCraft tournament is as usual sponsored by the organisation World GameMaster Tournament.

How the money will be divided between the top three players or teams is not sure yet, but something that is sure is that GosuGamers will be on spot, not only hosting the tournaments for you, but also keeping you updated with information, results and replays.
