Fragbet will now support StarCraft in its E-sports betting system; they will host a series of tournaments for all you StarCraft players out there!
Currently FragBet already supports several other game leagues, including Counter-Strike, WarCraft III and Fifa 2007. Yesterdays announcement seems to be in recognition of a demand for competitive StarCraft events outside of Korea.
The tournaments are free, open entry and the first one officially start this Saturday 8th September, with the winner taking away 200€ cash. Two more tournaments are scheduled for the following Saturdays (15th & 22nd), just making it in before the end of this betting season. The first rounds are single elimination Bo3, with the semi finals played Bo5. To sign up you have to first register on WGTour who will host the brackets, and then post confirmation in the FragBet forums. After that it is just to start preparing and play well on sunday!
