Blizzcon StarCraft: Savior Towers

It was to no surprise that the Korean pro-gamers would make it to the top, defeating the foreigners along the way. The community also knew that Ma Jae-Yoon; the Maestro Zerg would not go down easily.

After the elmination of YellOw, Reach, Testie, Skew, and XellOs - the top 3 which consisted of IriS, Nal_rA, and Savior had to battle it out to determine the first place winner. IriS, having already lost the winner bracket finals to Savior, got booted down to the loser bracket finals where the dreamer Protoss; Nal_rA was waiting for him.

Beserker vs Dreamer, who would've thought? These games were pretty standard. If you've seen many Korean-scene games, you might not expect much but with the little tricks Nal_rA has up his sleeve, it'll keep you guessing until the game is over. Iris took the first game on Longinus II, whereafter Nal_rA decided to step it up a notch to take the last 2 games and defeated IriS - making his way to the Grand Finals against the Maestro.

The Grand Finals of this match between Ma Jae-Yoon and Kang Min drew in so many people to the crowd. In general, the StarCraft tournament matches drew in the most crowd - apart from the hardcore World of WarCraft fans. The two players only got in 2 straight games, with the first game on Blitz X being the highlight of the whole tournament. Words could not possibly describe the intensity of the battles all over the map. You will have to see the game for yourself.
