New Map of the Months from BWMN!

Two new map of the months have been announced over the passed few weeks and they are impressive! Read on to see some of the newest maps from bwmn.

(2)Dreamcatcher by flothefreak

Map of the Month five has a interesting design. It has multiple routes to maneuver about the map, it has lovely decoration and exciting terrain features, specifically, the bridge at each natural.

Flothefreak's masterpiece captured many votes at BWMN as not many mappers can pull off the type of design that he has. This is a rather elegant map - It doesn't have any truly radical features but it gives off a slight shine of new. The map feels like a true classic and should play host to many solid games.

"This unique main/nat layout will certainly spice up early game tactics as well as make later in the game more interesting. With four of the map's expos being easily cliffed or harassed, and the other two fairly in the open, the map will certainly not be dull to play."

(3)Moon Tear by TestBug

The most recent Map of the Month is from TestBug, a newcomer at BWMN but has found his way into many of the members' hearts with his wonderful execution. Not only does this mapper have excellent execution, but he has a fondness for creating three player maps; a rarity in the mapping community. And wow, is this a beauty!

Not only does this map have a fun atmosphere, including the half moon; code named: Metapod. But it also has an elaborate expo set-up, which is hard enough for a map that has an even amount of players. Abnormal for maps these days, it has a mineral only nat also with a backdoor expo, and equally important, are many nicely placed expos abroad the map.

"The middle boasts neutral blocked expos with gas, making the middle useful and creating hotspots between the players, but since the neutral is so hp heavy, it will take a while to open the expo for use, again keeping down the macro tendencies. A little ways behind these center expos are important islands also between the players."
