DHS07: StarCraft finals tomorrow

The StarCraft Tournament here at DreamHack Summer 07 is over, but only for today. Tomorrow we will see the Winner Bracket final, the Loser Bracket final and the Grand Final. Hopefully they will all be shown on the big screen.

With just a little over forty players in the StarCraft tournament we were able to get most of it done in a day. The players will be given a day to rest and practice a bit. The three players left are of course guaranteed to win some money, but how much remains to be seen. Sweden is sure to take home a good portion of the prize money though, with both ZpuX and Datoby in the Winners Bracket final. The Czech Demolition Squad was as always well represented in the DreamHack StarCraft tournament. They bumped heads with each other in the losers bracket however and only CDS)Lord.Ghoust was able to make it through the day.

The winners bracket final is best of five. The losers bracket final is best of three. The grand final is best of five with a one game advantage to the player coming from the winners bracket.
