Germany and USA qualified for the playoffs

Just recently, the second round of WGTour World Cup finished. Though some teams have played their third round as well, which is why Germany and USA can be happy with saying they're the first teams ready for the playoffs.

The only group in the WGTour World Cup Season 2 that has finished is the Central Europe group. All the matches have been played, and we see that Germany ended on top, with three wins and no losses. Much thanks to the return of the Templars - Mondragon and Selector.
- I was hoping that we would end on second place, because we usually lose more nation wars versus Hungary than we win, says Avenger, thinking of Hungary as some sort of tournament ghost.

Germany's run through the tournament started with a 3-2 win over Slovakia, with Selector, GhosT and Rob winning their matches.

Second match Germany took on the mighty Czech Republic, and crushed the Jump boys with 5-0, Germany using a three-man Templars of Twilight lineup and two Deutschlands Kranke Horde players. Another win was a fact, and it looked very good so far.

Avenger, team manager for Germany, was also a bit scared when going up against Czech Republic, but it turned out well.
- I think it was the best lineup we had since one and a half years, says Avenger and smiles.

Last opponent was Hungary, a match that proved to be more tight than many people would predict. Though in the end Selector, Mondragon and GeNtLeMaN saved the day even though Kashu and Cameleon put up a good fight defeating NarutO and GhosT.

With this, we have the two first teams who qualified for the playoffs in the WGTour World Cup: Germany and USA who are qualified as well, topping their group America 1 with 3-0 (15-0).
