Poland Dominates Rymarov LanCraft Spring 2007

This past weekend, Rymarov LanCraft 2007 took place in the Czech Republic. This LAN hosted many of the best Starcraft and WarCraft III players from all over Europe.

This is a very important event for many gamers in the Czech Republic and its surrounding countries. When one thinks of this event you might recall the well-known Czech Demolition Squad showing up to this event with a majority of their team. However, CDS was not the only team in high attendance. The three polish powerhouses Draco, Gohan, and Fabian of Excello were also attending this event.

Draco goes undefeated in solo play and micro.

As what might have been expected, Draco managed to go undefeated throughout this event. It seems as though his practice time in Korea might have very well payed off. After finishing in first during group play, he would move onto the first round of bracket play against bio.seet who he defeated in two games. In the second round of bracket play, Draco would face off against his new teammate xLo.Fabian who he was also able to defeat. In the winner's bracket final, he played against uT)Maix - one of the surprises of the tournament. After some time waiting, it looked as though he would be rematching against Maix in the grand final, but this time the match would be in a best of five format. As you might have expected, Draco also came out victorious in the final with a score of 3-0. Along with 1v1 tournament, Draco was also able to take down Chose]DK[ in the grand finals of the micro tournament.

Gohan/Fabian win the duels tournament.

Arguably, one of the best 2v2 teams in all of Europe took this tournament by storm. They were able to defeat many of the best Czech pairs without too much of a problem. This event would be another great achievement for the well-known Polish duo.
