Winning over Infernal Gamers with 4-1, Team Excello is now ranked second in the first division of WGTCL. First place are still Los Reyes Del Mambo with the total of 32 points.
Tonight's matches in WGTour's highest clan league division were all very exciting, three ending 3-2 and two 4-1. The most interesting match for tonight was the one between the second and third placed teams - Infernal Gamers and Team Excello. By winning 4-1, Excello now takes the second place, below Los Reyes Del Mambo.
Fenris took down Strelok
Excello showed their strength, with sataNik taking down the Korean Saying, and MISTrZZZ defeating the Finnish Panda ArcneoN. Kyopo, the newest recruit of Infernal Gamers, could not help much as the recent Romanian Starcraft League winner Shaman took him down. The only player who won for Infernal Gamers was Fenris, winning against Strelok.
Los Reyes del Mambo, or LRM for short, took another scalp tonight as they won against the American-based team LighT. LRM are undefeated so far in this WGTCL season and there shouldn't be much stopping them - should another team reach over 32 points.
We also saw a real old school clash as MicroGamerZ took on Czech Demolition Squad. Sadly the Czech players were forced to forfeit the 2on2, and MicroGamerZ could score the last point to win the clanwar.
Deutschlands Kranke Horde took an important win, being previously ranked #8. They win against All for Zerg, thanks to DarkGamer and their new recruit SunCow, plus their 2on2 team Zpiet and GhosT. DkH has 16 points now, and should feel at least a little bit more safe than before.
Former national pride for BW-
Last but not least, the two jumbo teams United TeaM and Team Brood War faced off in a match ending 3-2.. Interesting to see was the return of Gurram and DeWa in BW-, both former members of the Swedish national team. Though StormtoSS, Kakatux and the 2on2 team PoSeiDoN and WhistleR won their matches, and could secure four needed points for their team.
