The Galactic Conquest

There are many tournaments held in the world today, mostly regular ones with brackets but sometimes some site figures something a little different out.

WGTour have hosted many events, but this idea is totally new. It's a tournament with eleven different nations, which will be played over some weeks. Each eleven nations have been provided with their own planet to defend, but are at the same time suppose to attack and invade the other planets. All of the planets have a tilset which also shows us which maps the defending nation should play on when attacked.

The nations are all given 100 minerals from the start. An invasion costs 25 minerals but if they succeed, they get the 25 minerals back, and gain another 25 which the invaded nation loses. When the team doesn’t have any minerals left or no planet does defend, they are out of the tournament.

To invade the team needs to announce three players who will attack and those three players cannot defend their own planet until the attack is complete. Each nation will have only one chance to invade another planet.
