StarCraft Brood War back in ESL

You heard right. The international Electronic Sports League has finally chosen to start up a StarCraft section again!

They will start off with two tournaments so that the management can see what the StarCraft community has to offer. If there is a lot of participants and site registrations they will set some prize money for the following tournaments.
- For the first and second tournament we can't give any prize money or hardware, ESL marketing section wants see if we can make active cup or not. They promised me to give a prize for sure if ESL have new registrations, and now we've had 55 new registrations in 1 day, which is very good, says Paolo 'DiVoL' Filippi from ESL. He also tells us that he thinks this will work out well.
- Ahead lays much work for me and other admins, and without community's help, we can't make this project. But I trust the community and I'm sure we can make it.

The limit of players is set to 256 and according to DiVoL they have never held a StarCraft tournament that big before.
- The last time there were made tournaments for 64 players, this is first time to any make a one with 256. He also tells us that he and the other admins are working on what hopefully will be more news for the players, so soon we might get more happy news coming from the ESL StarCraft: Brood War team.

The first tournament will be held this Saturday at 14:00 CET and the maps are shown to the right. The first three rounds will be played in bo1 and the rest in bo3 except for the final which will be played in best out of five matches. The players will meet in the Battle.Net channel #op ESL at Europe Server.

Add your game account id
(Command Center -> Game account -> Value: "SCBW b.net (EU)" , Type: "YourBnetNickname")
