NaDa and Oov in same group in ShinHan OSL

NaDa picked iloveOov in the group stage selection for ShinHan OSL, placing the two Terran Emperors in the same group.
- I picked him so we can go up together, said NaDa.

Earlier today another OnGameNet StarLeague kicked off with the group selections. The top 6 players from last season were placed in different groups, and got to choose the second set of players in their groups. After that the players were chosen picks the next, and so on until all the six groups are full of four players each.

The reigning champion NaDa (picture) was first out, and chose the World Cyber Games winner IloveOov. NaDa said that he wanted to make a group of death and that he initially did not want to have Oov in the group. But he picked him anyways so they could go up together.

In another group of death, the runner-up AnyTime revealed that this time he was going to make a safe pick so he would not have any team mates in his group.

An interesting note is the lack of Protoss players. Only the previous OSL runner-up AnyTime and Much[gm] are there to defend the Protoss honor, while there are 13 Terrans and nine Zergs.

The 24 players are split into six groups of four where the top two will advance after full group play. The six players who finished third will play of of the others and three of these six advance. The three losers will play each other and one will advance. That makes it a round of 16. Here the tournament style starts with best of 3. The semi finals and final are best of 5.
