Today was the last round of the 2006 Sky ProLeague regular season. Now comes the playoff where the winner will face season one champion SKT T1. Read on for todays results, final standings and playoff format.
Todays games features Pantech EX versus STX Soul and KTF MagicNs versus HanBit Stars. Soul and HanBit still had a chance to make it to the playoffs, but KTF and Pantech were eliminated.

Apparently the Kosiro game was extremly boring, but the surprise here is that Hwasin lost TvZ. He's been so good lately in that matchup, but all things must come to an end. Soul were close to qualifying for the playoffs, but with this result they are out. As a result, the MBCGame HERO team is now in the playoffs.

Reach and YellOw are playing in IEST tomorrow, but decided it was a good idea to win a ProLeague game first. For the ace match KTF picked rA as usual, but HanBit picked rather unexpectedly Hazin. They could have gone with Free, Deazang etc, but it worked out in the end for them anyway. HanBit Stars goes to the playoffs.
Playoff Format
The third and forth place will play each other.. The winner of this will play the second place finisher from the league. The winner here faces the winner of the league. All these games are best of seven. The winner of this match advances to the grand final to face the winner of season one, SK Telecom T1.

As you can see ProLeague is not for terrans, but rather zerg and protoss in both 1v1 and 2v2. It will be a great playoff hopefully with some nice games.
