Dreamhack is not entirely about the big fancy 1on1 StarCraft tournament, it's actually about the big fancy 2on2 tournament as well. The tournament is created, so find your ally and go sign up!

Every Dreamhack for about five years GosuGamers crew have been hosting the official 1on1 StarCraft: Brood War tournament of the event. Playing a 2on2 tournament has also become a tradition, but this year GosuGamers isn't hosting it but the Swedish gaming site Gamingeye will be.

The tournament is open for everyone visiting Dreamhack but for entering you will need a password which you can get from Emerald at Gamingeye in the D hall. Foreign players can go to Emerald and he'll help you sign up for the tournament.. The start time is set to 13:00 CET Saturday and will be played with a double elimination. If any of the 1on1 matches are still to be played they will have the highest priority.

The maps of the tournament will be:

Round one: Nostalgia
Round two: Gaia
Round three: Azalea
Round four: Luna

In winner bracket all matches to the final will be played in best out of three games, and the loser bracket is all about winning in best out of one. The grand final will be played in best out of five games, with the player from loser bracket down with one game.
