Sandlot: FA's thoughts about TL's new player

[s]interview[/s]

In the Blizzard Starcraft Sandlot tournament there are only three Swedish players. One of them is the 17 years old protoss player FrozenArbiter. Not that long ago he joined the Russian based clan [S2], he got voted 129 minerals in Sandlot and he is now one of the players of the Team Liquid Sandlot team.

Although he thinks you'll have to keep that in mind, because of the chance that people vote for the players they like, instead of the players who actually are better. Also he thinks that the logo competition was perhaps not the best way of decide who should pick first in the drafting.
- If you want a very serious tournament that is not the best way. Although, as the name of it implies, it probably shouldn't be taken too serious.

When asked who he thinks has the best chance of winning this tournament he answers:
- PGR21 have a very nice team, and they took many of the players Team Liquid were going to pick, so I think they have a pretty good chance.

We also talk about Netherlands Liquid`Nazgul replacing Germany FiSheYe in the TL lineup and FrozenArbiter is very happy to have Nazgul in the team. The only thing that worries him is however Nazgul will get in shape in time or not. But hopefully he will, and according to FrozenArbiter he seems to be very motivated to do well in the tournament, unlike FiSheYe.
- Since FiSheYe was not very motivated after his loss in the German World Cyber Games Qualifications I believe it is positive. It is much better to have a motivated player who really wants to do well in the event, instead of someone who only might show up and most likely will not practice anything at all before.

How to prepare?

- I'll play a lot on the West server, probably. That and a lot of games vs. my usual practice partners of whom many have got WCG these days, so some Hamachi and WCG maps as well. If they choose the map to each specific player I might do some map specific training as well, says FrozenArbiter. He also says that if he got to choose, he would very much like to play against SEn or Nal_keke.
- But I don't know if it is anything I should hope for, since their chances of winning are a lot better than mine.

When GosuGamers asked however he's worried about how the results will be he assures us that the only thing he's worried about is choking and lose all his games. Besides that he tells us that he's got very little pressure because of his low mineral cost and they have many good players in the team so hopefully they'll at least make it far in the tournament.
- It would be really fun to end up winning of course, but it is nothing I worry about like that... More looking forward to it.
