The first week of the Fragbet League has passed, and the results for the wars are known. Complete with replays and scores, we will check back and see what the teams have achieved thus far.

We will start with the first CW of the week, which was between the Czech team CDS and the French-based team of MgZ.

As you can see, MgZ) managed to pull a win out with great difficulty. CDS) gains a mere three points from this CW, as MgZ leaves gloriously with the winning five points.

The second CW on the agenda was favorite ToT against the underdog LRM. Was there going to be an upset in this war?

Not much of an upset, as ToT managed to win fairly easily with 4-1. LRM leaves with only one single point, whilst ToT[ picks up the full five points.

Next up was the multigaming clan MYM facing one of the qualifiers, EX. Would they be the ones that would manage the upset this week?

Nope, the strong progamer Lx manages to stop them dead in their tracks. After winning the chinese WCG, he now went undefeated for his clan. MYM racks up five points and EX is left with nothing.

The last clanwar of the week was that between [S2] and AFM. AFM was the favorite before the match, with roughly 2/3rd of the gosubet minerals. Would they show that they are worthy of this favorite role, or would [S2] manage a small surprise?

[S2] got very close to being that surprise, but just missed the finisher. Shaman, who came in 4 minutes before WO time, was the saving angel for AFM.

MYM takes the lead, followed closely by ToT. At the bottom of the league, we have EX that lost their first clanwar with 0-4 mostly due to Lx. However, what's in store for us on week 2?

Fragbet FAQ

What is the fragbet league?
The fragbet league is a league that uses an NGL-like system which I will explain later. Each team puts up 4 players in order, and two substitutes. NGL-form means that every match is a bo1, and if a player loses, that player is out. To explain it further, here is an example.

In this example, Team 2 manages to pull out the victory with 4-3.

How does the scoring system work?
The scoring system is simple. You gain one point for each single victory, and one point for the overall victory. Say Team 2 beats Team 1 with 4-3, Team 2 gains 5 points, whilst Team 1 gains 3.

Is there a playoff at the end of the season?
Yes, we will use a playoff system in which the team that finished 7th until 1st all have a shot at winning the Fragbet League. The system we use is the following:

winner match5	vs	1st place

The loser of the match between place 7-3 and 2 will receive 3rd place, the loser of the final 2nd place, and the winner will of course receive first place. This means that you only need to win one match at the end of the season if you are first, whilst you need to get through 6 matches if you were 7th. The team that placed 8th will not participate in the playoffs.

What are the prizes for this season of Fragbet League?
These are the prizes for the teams in the fragbet league. This is, of course, after the playoffs, not after the league.

This means that the team finishing first in the league with the playoffs still to be played is assured of at least €200,-.
