NWL Interviews: Canada, Germany and Czech leaders

The fifth week of Nation War League is just around the corner, with some great matches coming up, GosuGamers sat down with the nation leader, Jump of Czech Republic and VinCi, leader of team Canada.

What do you think of your performance in Nation War League so far?

- Jump, Czech Republic leader:
I'm happy with our performance so far. I'm sure we have many things to improve as well, but I'm satisfied with most of our games, especially the nation war against USA.

- VinCi, Canada leader:
Well I think we've done pretty good, the hardest match was without a doubt our first match vs Russia and we we're able to bring home a 4-1 victory, only XiaOzI lost to BRAT_OK which was actually the only loss we would of tolerate :P

2nd week we got bye then 3rd week we had to face Romania and there I got nice and bad surprises, we had less player then expected but JF was able to make it and we finally won in a close 3-2, thanks to Payam(TT1). Last week we played Peru-B and again we had less player then expected due to TSL streams but Peru-B wasn't has strong as Russia or Romania so we secured the 1st spot with a 4-1 win again. Good job guys, Go Canada Go



What are your expectations for the next nation war?

- Jump, Czech Republic leader:
I hope we will be able to get as many points as possible, and I want to see us the in the playoffs. The nation war versus France will be our key way into the playoffs, and if we win with enough points I think we can make it.

- VinCi, Canada leader:
Chile B..Bulgaria..Netherlands should be win-win-win if we have a decent lineup I predict 4-1 Chile B, 3-2 Bulgaria and 4-1 Netherlands (Ret being the only win :P). So if those predictions goes right we should be #1 in our group at the end of the groupstage!



Who are the favorites of each group, and the whole league?

- Jump, Czech Republic leader:
Chile is the best nation in group A, our war against them was a very close one, but I'm pretty sure they are the favorites in our group. Our victory against USA makes us the close runner-ups.
In group B I think Canada will take the first spot, and same thing goes for Poland in group C, with USA B as runner-ups.
Germany and Norway are the favorites of group D in my opinion, and I think they will be the ones to qualify for the playoffs. When it comes to the whole league, I think Poland and Germany are the ones who will be fighting for the first place.

- VinCi, Canada leader:
Group A: I though USA would be the favorite but it seems Czech doing pretty good there so I'll go with them ! Although USA has better players.
Group B: Canada of course ! Why ? JF Xiaozi TT1 AeriAls ... :D (<3 others :P)
Group C: Poland without a doubt, after Korea/China it might be the best BW country.
Group D: Germany, Norway is ahead so far but iNfeRnaL, Mondragon and others will crush them.
The favorite of the whole league would be Poland, Germany or Canada, depending on the draw.
