The TSL2 Ladder is done and the groups have been made. Only 12 of the 48 top players of the ladder will move on to the round of 16 where BRAT_OK, IefNaij, Draco and also the winner of IdrA and Nony. The ro48 qualifiers begins on the 9th of January, 2010.

Group A
The loser of Nony and IdrA will have to play a best of five in the qualifiers round three in Group A. Joining that group is NeMu who will play the first qualifier round against HoRRoR (ranked 25th in the TSL2 ladder), who then moves on to play KenZy (24th).
Group B
This group consists of three rather new faces of 2009, secondplace of the ladder, and Swedish Terran player MorroW, along with the German Zerg who claimed the 4th place at WCG, Kolll (26th), and the thirdplace winner of Dreamhack Winter 2009 - the Zerg, Naugrim (47th). OctZerg (23rd) also managed to claim a spot in the top 48 and will join group B as well.
Group C
Two of the Polish players who qualified for the ro48 might clash in this group, Shad (46th) and MaNa (3rd). With them they bring CaStrO (27th) and Kr (22nd). In the first round the two Pandemic players will face off eachother to find out who will take on Kr in the second.
Group D
The fourth place of the ladder, claimed by Strelok, awaits in the third qualifiers of group D, and KaBaL (21st) will be facing the winner of Datoby (45th) and Avi-Love (28th) in the second round of qualifiers.
Group E
With more than 400 games played on his record, White-Ra ended 5th on the ladder and leads the group of KiLLeR (20th) who's waiting for the winner of Liquid'Drone (29th), also known as Eriador, and CloseR in the second round of this group's qualifiers.
Group F
One of the favorites to win this event is ret, and ended sixth on the ladder. In group F he's joined by the Zerg FlaF aka Fluffy (19th), and the two Protosses who will face eachother in round one of the qualifiers; G5 and Cloud.
Group G
Terran player Fenix managed to grab the seventh spot on the ladder and his challengers are Protoss players Casper (18th) and Dreiven (42nd) and the Terran Nyoken who ended at the 31st spot of the ladder.
Group H
The Hungarian Zerg Sziky ended 8th, and will have to face either of the following in the round three qualifiers; Polish Terran Tarson, the American Terran KawaiiRice or the Protoss player Gamtja from Austria.
Group I
Another successful player of 2009 is kogeT who advanced to the playoffs of ESL Major Series with a 3-0 score, sharing group with MorroW, Kolll and XiaOzI. He ended 9th on the ladder, and the Polish Zerg will have to face either XiaOzI (16th), Arew (33rd) or MikOeL (40th) in the third round of qualifiers of group I.
Group J
Mondragon won the ladder of the first TSL, and was the favorite then to win the event, but lost to Dreiven in the round of 16. By grabbing the 10th spot of the ladder he's now in the third round qualifiers of group J, awaiting either Shaman (15th), iNcontroL (34th) or TechnicS (39th).
Group K
Sen has made a huge comeback this year, advancing from his group at WCG, and ended 11th in the TSL2 ladder. The Taiwan Zerg player will be facing Protoss player Yan (14th), or either of the Terrans Marwin (35th) and GhosTa (38th).
Group L
GosI(Terran) took the final spot of the top 12 on the ladder, and the Mexican Terran Groups with Hayder (13th), also known as HayprO, iNfeRnaL (36th) and Sawyer (37th).
