ESL Season 5 - Playday 3

The groupstage of ESL season 5 is soon done, with only four matches left to play. Mondragon leaves Group C undefeated along with kogeT of Group A. Draco unexpectedly beat ret 2-0 and is ready for an advancement from Group D. Also aCe managed to put on a 2-0 show against IdrA, who now will have to battle it out with the Grandpatoss for the second spot.

The first games of the third playday are done, and so are all of the postponed games from the earlier playdays. Mondragon and kogeT have already qualified with both a 3-0 score, and MorroW beat Kolll in the postponed game of playday one, which makes MorroW qualify as the second of the group. Strelok managed to roll in his last games and qualified from the group with 2-1.

Group B is very interesting, both IdrA and White-Ra have both lost their game to aCe, who already got the first spot from Group B. This means that the fight for the second spot comes down to the upcoming Monday's match between IdrA and White-Ra.

Draco has already qualified from Group D, with a 2-0 score winning both his games 2-0, which makes him safe at the top spot. The second spot comes down to either ret or Dreiven, who will also battle it out on Monday, so we have some very exciting games coming up. The games will start on Monday the 14th of December, at 19:45 CET, and will be streamed as usual.




Update:
The second and third place of each group will have to play a best of three to decide which one who will advance. So it will be either MorroW or Kolll from Group A, IdrA or White-Ra from Group B, Strelok and MaNa from Group C and finally ret or Dreiven from Group D.
