The Team Pandemic president Chris Lemley, sees this as a big step in a part of new direction for his organization: "This acquisition allows us to reach a global audience, helps fill a void between our organization's otherwise mainstream focus and the 'hardcore' esports titles, and opens the door to a tremendous online community that aligns conceptually with what we feel to be the future of professional gaming."
