Why Ash, why?

When we first hear about it - we were pretty much confused and left without any further information. Why did Fnatic disbanded their team and what are the reasons for this act? Well, when you want to know something so badly that you are trying to get any information possible you must go to the right guy. And right guy this time is no other then Fnatic.SC leader - Ash.

Please, keep in mind this is an exclusive interview that we got in last minute, just like everything GosuGamers do to provide you fastest and the best information from eSports world. With that in mind, let's go get some answers and demystify some stuff.

GosuGamers: Alot of people are speculating the reason that Fnatic dropped it's SC team is due to how long SC2 is taking to be released, is this the reason or is there another reason?

Ash: Yes, but that's just one of the reasons why we dropped our Starcraft team.

GosuGamers: Your clan has been a dominating force in the scene lately have you guy decided on staying together, or is this the end of one of the better Asian teams we have seen in the foreign scene?

Ash: Yes we've decided to stay together which is why you see the full squad leaving. It's obvious that Fnatic would want star players like F91, Never or Sen to stay but for us its either staying together or leaving together. It's been more than 10 months since we've been together now and to us playing together means much more than anything. You will definitely see more of our actions in the near future I can assure you that.

GosuGamers: Will you guys be actively searching out a new sponsor or fly sponsor less for a bit and wait til one comes to you?

Ash:It's not the right time to disclose anything yet but you will get a big update soon. I apologize for that but something is meant to be confidential until we can officially announce it.

GosuGamers: What were some of the highlights you guys have had while under Fnatic?

Ash: Obviously winning the eSports International League was our biggest achievement as a team together because we had to spend some time playing in lower tier divisions before we could play with the best one in top division in other leagues like iCCup. It's all good now though that we've got into the first division that we were aiming for. It's quite a pity that we didn't get to have the prize money from the eSports League though because they had some internal problems.

You will definitely see more of our actions in the near future I can assure you that.

Additionally, we also have a plan to get the players playing together in the town.

GosuGamers: You team is such a small team, almost half the size of most top tier clans. Why decide to stay so small? Do you have plans to add some more guys to the roster?

Ash: It's mostly because almost all of us are still really active so I didn't see the point of taking more guys. I've received a lot of requests from some of the very best players in the past but I thought a team wouldn't be the same if players just play together for a clan war but don't speak to each other. In the future though, I will need more players due to the unstable Chinese connections at the moment. Additionally, we also have a plan to get the players playing together in the town, F91 is living in because he seems to be the one with least lag problems when playing against foreigners.

Ash also had something to say in the end of interview as he is in fact very deeply hurt about recent news. For sure he feels he did let part of Fanatic's fans down.

I would like to thank all the fans for their concern over us and I would like to tell you guys that there is no need to worry about us and we're not gonna disappear from the leagues like what happened to pure in the past. This will make us even stronger as a team and you will see more of our appearances in international leagues and offline events.

In the end, we can only hope that Fnatic.SC will hold their promise and not give up to keep on going on the scene. Asian teams like this one are needed to promote eSports and to keep competitive spirit alive and well. We can only wish them best of luck and prosperity in future endeavors.

If we get any more information from Fnatic.Ash we will update these news and keep you informed. Stay tuned.
